At Netherton Dental Practice we want to ensure that we listen to our patients and to improve on areas where we are able to do so. We recently undertook a patient survey* and the results are below:

Inside 100% said it was either very good or good
Outside 100% felt it was either very good or good
Waiting Room relaxing/welcoming 98% said it was good
Staff
Reception friendly/efficient 100% felt they were
Dental Nurses/Hygienists: friendly/caring/helpful/reassuring 100% said they were
Dentists:helpful/caring/friendly 100% felt they were
Dentist explains sufficiently what treatment needs to be done 100% felt they did
Confident about the quality of treatment being provided 100% felt confident
Patient Information:
Sufficient dental leaflets 98% felt there was
Appointments:
Is it easy to book appointments 100% felt it was
Length of time to wait for future appointments acceptable 98% said it was
Payment for Treatment:
Is cost fully explained 100% said yes
Complaints:
Aware of the complaints procedure 68%** were not aware – Complaints Handling Policy is now displayed on the notice board opposite reception and we have placed additional notices in all Practice Waiting areas
Have you complained in the last year – 100%** said No
Would you recommend practice to others 100%*** said yes

What attracts you most about the practice?
Good polite and happy practice, caring attitude, competence, everyone so friendly and helpful, everything I have had done was carried out so well and no pain, excellent care, the expertise and friendliness of the team, always received first class treatment. My experience has been very positive, always ready to help if an emergency appointment is required, Competence.
What do you least like about the practice?
Car parking (lack off), Location along the A140, Can we put coat hangers lower down for short people – (Lower coat hooks will now be put in place)
